Parkside Childcare is the most established Montessori and crèche in Rathfarnham, offering full and part-time childcare and ECCE.

Over the past 25 years we’ve been caring for children in the Rathfarnham area and have had the pleasure of extending that care to many brothers, sisters, cousins and friends along the way.

We offer excellence in pre-school education and development through our “Empowering Play” curriculum, which is taught through the Montessori method of teaching and in line with the Aistear Framework from the Department of Education. We are fortunate to have pre-school teachers with Bachelor Degrees in Education and Montessori.

We have a large, private, off-street facility with dedicated classrooms for each age and stage of development, an excellent nutrition programme with complimentary nutrition counselling should your child ever need some extra advice and a large, all weather garden with dedicated play areas of interest.

Our experienced and loving staff put our parent’s minds at ease every morning. They see the same faces everyday and they can go off about their day knowing there’s a consistent continuity of care for their little one. We are very proud of our low turnover of staff at Parkside. In fact, we have 3 staff members with us still after 25 years! We think that speaks for itself: happy staff = happy babies = happy parents!

Our Fees

We require a €400 deposit for full time childcare, or a €200 deposit for all part time childcare.
